Your first visit to Adams Chiropractic will be a surprisingly pleasant experience. If you are in pain, our staff will begin immediately to make you as comfortable as possible...and will expedite the necessary paperwork. You will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire. The information you provide is vital to helping your doctor understand your condition. You will then be given a thorough Analytical Examination, including checking your blood pressure, pulse and heartbeat. You will also be given a series of painless tests which measure the functional capabilities of your spine and nervous system.

If x-rays are required, they will be taken of the spine, head, neck and other areas the doctor feels are necessary to check. You may also be given a Video Fluoroscope examination which shows your spine and other structures in motion, a procedure rarely found in chiropractic offices that allows the detection of subtle abnormalities which cannot be seen in static x-rays. We use only low-emission instruments to keep your radiation exposure to an absolute minimum. When all the tests and questionnaires are completed and reviewed, our doctors will design a treatment plan for you, beginning with your very next appointment.
