THE BACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVE

August 15th to 20th, 2011

The Back-to-School Drive is our way of contributing to our schools and our community. For the week of August 15th to 20th, 2011, our doctors donated their time and professional services as a contribution to the level of education in our local schools.

Also, many of you in our community made this possible by donating all sorts of school supplies in exchange for one day's chiropractic services. At the end of the Drive, all of the school supplies collected were donated to Sonoma Valley schools.

You can only imagine how all of the teachers and students felt, knowing that they had the school supplies they needed, in large part due to your generosity. Would you like to see the appreciation of some of the students? We received cards which two students wrote expressing their gratitude. We're sure that this is only a sampling of how all the teachers and students felt. Please read what these two young ones wrote, below.

The Back-to-School Drive is our way of contributing to our schools and our community. For the week of the Drive, our doctors donate their time and professional services so as to allow patients to bring in school supplies and exchange them for one day's chiropractic services. At the end of the Drive, all of the school supplies collected will be donated to Sonoma Valley schools. On Tuesday, August 16th, all Established Patients (patients currently seeking treatment in our office) can receive a chiropractic adjustment in exchange for 10 or more items of school supplies.

For the week of August 15th to 20th, all New Patients (patients who have not sought treatment in our office before, or not for the past year) will be able to receive a consultation, thorough orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic examinations, any necessary x-rays and treatment rendered, as well as a report of our findings, in exchange for 15 or more items of school supplies.

Some suggestions of school items needed are:  facial tissue, post-it sticky notes, #2 pencils, erasers, manilla folders, colored markers, glue sticks, pens, paper, binders, peechees, calculators, rulers, crayons, highlighters, paper clips, backpacks, sports equipment.

Try this: Buy a backpack and fill it up with school supplies!

The suggested number of items is in order to make the value of school supplies equal to the value of the services received. This offer does not apply to patients with Personal Injury or Workers' Compensation cases. The value of donated services may not be applied to an existing balance.
